After an exhaustive search, the leaders of Sussex Healthcare found their new chief executive officer. They announced on December 21, 2017, that they would be hiring Amanda Morgan-Taylor for this position. She formally began her duties in January 2018 but she went to work a month before that time arrived. For example, she huddled with senior management at this firm recently so that they could appoint a person to their high-level position called Director of Quality, Compliance, and Service Improvement.

Amanda Morgan-Taylor began her career in healthcare in 1984 when she started out as a Mental Health Nurse. Later on she was promoted to senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. At various times she has been a Managing Director, Service Manager, and Quality Development Director. She has worked in compliance with local authorities many times. She also knows what it takes to develop a strong council/provider relationship. She is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care when it comes to the patients her organizations have treated over the years.

Sussex Healthcare is an award-winning company that was founded in March 1998. It operates 20 home in the Sussex region. These home are occupied by adults who can no longer take care of themselves due to infirmity, Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia, or other causes. They also take care of people who have various physical and/or learning difficulties.


Each home that makes up Sussex Healthcare is staffed with healthcare professionals. This includes specialists such as those at the gym they recently opened. This includes hydrotherapy experts to assist patients who use underwater treadmills or saunas. They also have experts to show people how to safely use things like free weights and elliptical machines.

As part of her familiarization process with Sussex Healthcare, Amanda Morgan-Taylor will be visiting each of these homes in the next few months. American Institute of Architects (AIA) Names Its New Executive Vice President/CEO

     Robert Ivy has been named by the American Institute of Architects’ board to be the organization’s new Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer with effect from February 1, 2011. The umbrella that covers certified architects and relevant professionals, AIA has continued to serve the U.S’s design and construction sector since 1857.

Prior to his appointment, Robert has since 1996 served as the Editor in Chief of Architectural Record. He also doubled as the McGraw-Hill Construction’s Vice President/Editorial Director tasked with managing the organization and its affiliate publications. Before climbing to corporate executive roles, Robert Ivy served as Ivy Architects’ principal and Dean/Dale’s managing partner for about 14 years. In 2009, he was presented with the Crane Award due to his huge contributions to the business media in the United States. A year later, Robert was recognized by the Alpha Rho Chi as the Master Architect for his role in increasing design awareness among members of the new generation.

Robert is a respected figure in the United States’ architectural industry. He has made enormous contributions towards the sector, including championing for the environmental, social, and political factors affecting the industry. Robert Ivy is a key Fellow in the American Institute of Architects. In the 1990s he served on the organization’s Board of Directors.

Village Voice Media executives, Jim Larkin and Michael lacey were taken from their homes in darkness on the evening of October 18th 2007 when they refused a Grand Jury Subpoena from Sheriff Arpaio’s Maricopa County to surrender personal information about the staff of the Phoenix New Times and its readership; in a clear attack on the First Amendment rights of the American public, the man who claimed to be “America’s toughest sheriff” called on members of Village Voice Media to provide the IP addresses of the readers of an article about the financial irregularities at Maricopa County’s Sheriff’s Department and a second article about the Grand Jury Subpoenas.


Of course, Larkin and Lacey both refused to provide the information requested by Sheriff Arpaio and his Maricopa County allies as they wished to protect the rights of their staff and readers. In a clear attack on the staff of the Phoenix New Times in response to the investigations into Sheriff Arpaio, the police officer sent unmarked SUV’s to the homes of Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin to arrest the pair without reason or cause.


The illegal detention of the two journalists spectacularly backfired for Sheriff Arpaio and provided the people of Arizona with the latest evidence of the illegal nature of the career of the sheriff. A national outcry from media outlets ensued and resulted in the release of Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin in under 24 hours and a Ninth Circuit Supreme Court decision going their way in 2012 with $3.7 million in damages used to start The Frontera Fund.
